A review of The Hairy Lemon in Manhattan’s Alphabet City

Located at 28 Avenue B in Manhattan’s Alphabet City, The Hairy Lemon picks up where Croxley Ales left off.  The Hairy Lemon is more neighborhood sports bar then neighborhood craft beer bar.  The Hairy Lemon serves 20 tap beers, but most were not of the particularly hard-to-find variety.  The space feels materially different from Croxley Ales, though the new owners did keep one church pew for seating that the former occupant used in abundance.  Stop in here on your next Avenue B NYC bar crawl.
