New NYC bars on our radar for early summer 2026

A few spots we have on our to-visit list:

Limo Bar in Alphabet City has opened in the old Poco space at 33 Avenue B.

Bar Bas in Hell’s Kitchen takes over for Friki Tiki at 357 W. 44^th Street.

And in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, Sonny’s Corner takes over the long-time Pencil Factory space at 142 Franklin Avenue.

After we’ve had a chance to visit these bars, we’ll post brief thoughts here.
