This spot used to be Patrick Kavanaugh&#8217;s (and, briefly, pig n whistle in between). With fewer tables and more standing room, Bar Rua feels more spacious than its previous incarnations. There&#8217;s a small room on the back for private events. Food offerings are fairly standard for a sports bar (bar apps, burgers, sandwiches and other entrees). The $10 lunch special is fairly generous and includes the choice of an app and an entree.
