Pub Crawl NYC enjoys hanging out in Sunnyside.\u00a0 It had been a while, so on a recent weekday afternoon, we ventured over there to hit some spots along Queens Blvd and Greenpoint Avenue.\u00a0 Below are the highlights:<\/p>\n

Molly Blooms<\/strong> at 43-13 Queens Blvd, this location is the old Flynn’s Inn.\u00a0 Molly Blooms has a Victorian theme going.\u00a0 Small outdoor area in the back. 12 tap beers and 18 bottled beers offered.\u00a0 Fairly simple bar food menu.<\/p>\n

McGuiness’s<\/strong> at 44-23 Queens Blvd.\u00a0 A comfortable neighborhood corner bar.\u00a0 Six tap beers.\u00a0 As the name suggests, it’s an Irish bar.<\/p>\n

Bliss Street Station<\/strong> at 47-02 Greenpoint Avenue.\u00a0 Another Irish pub offering six tap beers and decent pub grub.\u00a0 Fairly sizeable dining area also.<\/p>\n

Greenpoint Lounge<\/strong> at 43-22 Greenpoint Avenue.\u00a0 Probably the diviest of the five pubs we visited this day.\u00a0 Long bar area followed by a pool table toward the back and a small outdoor area in the back.<\/p>\n

Bantry Bay Public House<\/strong> at 3301 Greenpoint Avenue.\u00a0 From the looks of the outside, it looks dive-y, but rather pleasant on the inside with both a sizeable bar and dining areas.\u00a0 I’m unsure if this section of Queens is still Sunnyside or Long Island City.\u00a0 Perhaps it’s on the border.\u00a0 If you have any thoughts on this debate, please share!<\/p>\n
