About Pub Crawl NYC

Who I am
My name is DC.

What I do
I enjoy doing pub crawls around New York City.  Over the past twelve years, I have visited almost every drinking establishment in Manhattan and Brooklyn (and a good number in Queens too!).  I periodically organize crawls and invite people to come out for a few hours on a Saturday afternoon.  If you would like to organize a pub crawl and need some suggestions on theme, neighborhood or venues, I can help!  If you would like to add an announcement for an upcoming crawl on this site, please feel free to contact me.  I also provide brief reviews of (mostly) recently-opened bars around NYC.  If you know of a recently-opened spot that I have not yet reviewed, please let me know (contact info is provided below) and I will get on it!

What is a Pub (or Bar) Crawl
A pub crawl is an outing during which groups of people who are of legal drinking age visit a pre-determined set of venues in one day or evening. It can be themed around a specific holiday (St. Patrick’s Day, Halloween and Cinco De Mayo are popular occasions). But crawls can be for many types of occasions: A birthday, a bachelor party or just an excuse to get friends together and go bar hopping. Typically, a pub crawl starts during an afternoon and lasts for several hours into the evening.  If you want to learn more about planning a pub crawl, my How-to-plan guide is available for sale for just $1 here.

Why I do it
It’s the best way to explore and get to know a city, its neighborhoods and its people!
